Trusting God
I stayed down today due to not feeling well but, other than the way I’ve been feeling, it’s been a nice day. I think the temperatures got up in the 50s as I ventured out for a short, slow walk with my sister. Then back to bed. In the midst of it all, though, I’m feeling a lot of faith for what God’s doing. He has a plan and, although this is not how I planned to spend my day, maybe I needed rest before our conference season begins (which is this weekend by the way). One thing I appreciate when I’m down is the times God brings people to my mind to pray for. There are many needs but He is so faithful.
I have a lot to accomplish tomorrow so I’m praying I feel better by morning but I don’t have to worry or fret because I know the God who has everything under control. Aren’t you glad you serve a living Savior? No matter what you are going through, He knows and He cares. Surrender to Him and trust Him and see how quickly your burdens disappear.
